Why I am currently depressed, watching Netflix and consuming ridiculous amounts of frozen yogurt

Soooooo, where to begin

School in BC was supposed to start on September 2nd right, well earlier this year the government decided to extend our year by 2 weeks so while provincial exams were occurring everyone else had to be in school (just a reminder where I live in BC we start high school in grade 8) buuuut the teachers decided to strike and therefore we were let out at our normal time HALLELUJAH

The strike carried out through the summer and instead of starting school thanks a gain to the strike we had extended summer.

Since I go to camp for 3 out of an 8 week summer, I kinda scramble when I get home to spend some time hanging with friends and sometime prepping for school, again thanks to the strike I've been able to sleep, eat, poop, hang out, shop, workout and repeat

BUT ITS OVER NOWWWWW

were starting this monday

August Faves

Stila tinted moisturizer: super sheer but gives a nice glow and paired with concealer looks really natural

makeup forever full cover concealer: stopped using this baby for a while but its back in my hand and let me tell you this stuff covers anything

loreal telescopic mascara: lengthen and the thin brush works amazingly for lower lashes

garnier fructis beach chic spray: gives amazing mermaid like waves, I use it on dry hair and then kind of scrunch my hair, be warned because it does have a hold you hair will feel a bit crispy

Competition Blues

Hey guys so I just wanted to quickly talk to you about competition. For anyone who is involved at a high level in sport or even the arts, competing is a huge roll in our lives.
Ive been competing in martial arts since the age of 7, and I'm still a nervous reck on the day of.

But I have some tips and tricks tat help me to kind of tame my anxiety.

1) Scope out your competition.
You can usually kind of guess peoples' age and if they will be in your division or not, so if you can get a good look at them practising then do it! If you have some idea of what your up against you wont feel as nervous.

2) Get riled up,
Before I compete I like to listen to a certain playlist of songs, warm up and get myself into competition mode

3) Surround yourself with people who care about you and are facing the same challenge.
Talk to your team-mates, have a shake down!

2) Simple Exfoliating Cleansing Wipes
  • Got these on sale for $7.99 love em for removing my makeup before training
3) St Ives Apricot Blemish Clearing Scrub
